We are delighted to have Mark Brown, Otago Rugby NPC Head Coach, join us for our Club Otago lunch on Friday 3rd July.
Mark was born and raised in Mosgiel, Dunedin and attended St Paul’s High School. He played for both the Taieri and University clubs and always maintained a strong ambition to coach the Otago NPC team.
”Otago NPC 2025: Blue Blood - Golden Edge”
Mark will speak about how they set up the 2025 season and what they sought out to achieve. He’ll give some behind the scenes insight into how the team approached last year both on and off the field, and how this is being transitioned into 2026.
Richard Kinley (CEO) and Paul Thompson (Commercial Manager) will also be joining us to give a brief outline of the NPC, the Ranfurly Shield and the overall Otago Rugby success.
Mark, Richard and Paul will then be available to answer all your questions. The Ranfurly Shield may even be making an appearance for a photo op with the shield (and perhaps even the Otago Rugby staff!).
