We invite you to join us on the most romantic night of the year for the Otago Medical Research Foundation Gala.

The success of this event ensures that life-saving research, which will benefit us and our whānau for generations to come, can continue to take place in Otago. Last year's funding alone included ground-breaking research on cancer, heart disease, Māori health, bowel disease, obesity and diet, exercise and infection - to name a few. 

We are excited to announce a fantastic lineup of entertainment led by our wonderful MC, Doug Kamo. 

We are privileged to have the wonderful Matt Chisholm join us for an entertaining Q&A session. Matt calls himself average, but the rough and ready bloke from the deep south has lived a life that is anything but. He's spent 15 years on national television - first as a reporter - then a reality TV host. He's written two books - 'Imposter' and then 'The Road to Chatto Creek', which is all about leaving the rat race and returning to the country. Through all of it, though, the down to earth authentic bloke has become known for his honesty and openness about his battle with the bottle, anxiety and depression. Nowadays Matt runs a small farm with his family at Chatto Creek, Central Otago, while figuring out what he's going to do when he grows up. Matt will chat with Doug and we can assure you there will be a lot of laughs along the way.

Then brace yourself for an unforgettable evening of Broadway and West End brilliance! The Highlights is a spectacular showcase of the greatest hits from the world’s most beloved musicals. This performance promises powerhouse vocals, dazzling choreography, and breathtaking moments that will have you singing along and dancing in your seat.

We promise you'll be up dancing for the rest of the night with Niche who have wowed audiences across New Zealand and internationally. Known for their seamless medleys of pop, dance, classics, Top 40 hits, and funk, Niche create unforgettable party vibes and keep dance floors buzzing.

As well as our fantastic entertainment, the night will be topped off by spectacular food/wine and a live and silent auction.
