Congratulations to our Otago Medical Research Foundation Patron, Emeritus Professor Gil Barbezat, who has been made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2026 King’s Honours for his outstanding services to Gastroenterology.
Gil has been a valued Patron of the Foundation since 2014, generously giving his time and support to the Foundation alongside his wife, Wyn. We are incredibly grateful for their longstanding commitment.
