Club Otago Lunch March 6 2020 - Kereyn Smith

26/02/2020

How well are the hosts prepared for Tokyo 2020? What will the point of difference be with these, the Games of the XXXII Olympiad? And what should our realistic expectations be of the New Zealand contingent?

Just some of the questions to be answered by Kereyn Smith, the chief executive of the New Zealand Olympic Committee at the year’s first Club Otago lunch next Friday, March 6th.

Kereyn has overseen a number of successful Olympic and Commonwealth Games’ campaigns over the last 12 years and her insight into the lead-up to the 2020 event will be fascinating, as will her assessment of the genuine chances of the New Zealand team.

This is a rare opportunity to hear at first-hand the groundwork for the world’s biggest sporting festival – from both a host’s viewpoint and as a competing nation.
