OMRF Summer Research Scholarship Students announced

The Foundation is delighted to fund 18 scholarships for the 2025-6 summer.
Applications were of an exceptionally high standard this year. We thank the Foundation's Scientific Committee for assessing these applications - a very tough job.
Details of the students, supervisors, funders and project abstracts can be found on the Summer Research Scholarships page. These projects run for 10 weeks and often lead to research and teaching careers for the students, and the projects contribute knowledge to the field. It is therefore an incredible opportunity for the students.

The Otago Medical Research Foundation will jointly host an event with the University of Otago towards the end of the student's projects. This function gives students and their supervisors the opportunity to thank their funders in person, meet Foundation staff, Council and Scientific Committee members, and to reflect on their 10 weeks.
We congratulate all students and their supervisors, and look forward to hearing about their experience.
