Fleurs Place

Among the many spectacular auction items on offer at A Night to Remember 2019 was the Fleurs Place Experience.

Among the many spectacular auction items on offer at the Foundation’s annual dinner – A Night to Remember 2019 – in February was the Fleurs Place Experience.

Organised by the legendary Fleur Sullivan, this package comprised starters and pre-dinner drinks with Fleur at her restaurant in Moeraki, dinner cooked by the internationally-renowned chef Michael Coughlan in the Moeraki Ocean Breeze, the meal featuring Provenance Lamb, and then back to Fleurs Place for dessert, port and cheese.

There was also accommodation for two couples at the Moeraki Ocean Breeze, breakfast for four people at Vanessa’s Cottage Café in Hampden and a fishing charter for four people with Moeraki Fishing Charters.

We are indebted to Fleur Sullivan, Michael Coughlan, Moeraki Fishing Charters and Vanessa Hendry, and to the successful bidder – long-time Foundation supporter Hamish Caithness.

Hamish reports the two days spent in Moeraki as superb. He noted the number of overseas visitors dining at Fleurs, there specifically because of her reputation which has spread around the globe.

A Night to Remember 2020 is set for Friday, 14th February (Valentine’s Day) with fewer than 80 seats remaining. If you would like to be part of the best night in Dunedin, please contact the Foundation’s Events Manager Steve Davie – phone 0274370335 or email [email protected]
